Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Operations Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Manager, Accounting Operations, by overseeing the Brazil Team which consists of approximately 6 billing specialists in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of contractual/non-contractual rules within our organization.
This includes, but is not limited to, performing a variety of routine functions in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related financial areas.

Assist the Manager in overseeing the offshore team, ensuring high performance and adherence to processes.Conduct regular one-on-ones, group training sessions, and performance reviews for the onshore team.Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to team members to achieve individual and team goals.Engage in client focused communication with airline and hotel partners to facilitate billing process.Ensure accurate representation of contractual rules in both contract status and the system.Conduct thorough audits of invoices to ensure adherence to contractual rules.Analyze reservations on a case-by-case basis, review associated documents, and validate invoice calculations using Excel.Provide comprehensive training sessions to new hotels and reinforce training for existing hotels.Extend support during the first invoice submission to facilitate correct invoicing and timely payment receipt.Required Skills, Education and Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven accounting experienceProficiency in NetSuite is a plusAdvanced MS Office Skills required, including advanced Excel formulasDegree in Accounting or FinanceFluent Portuguese and Spanish RequiredWho We Are API is the global leader for crew accommodation solutions, and we are changing the way businesses manage travel.
