Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, issue payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables. Ensure all transactions are properly documented and recorded.
Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable ledgers, and other financial records with internal systems to ensure accuracy.
Payroll Processing: Assist in preparing and processing payroll, including calculating employee salaries, withholding taxes, and preparing related reports.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
Tax Compliance: Prepare and file various tax returns (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax) in compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations.
Audit Support: Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.
Inventory Management: Monitor and record inventory transactions and assist in conducting periodic physical inventory counts.
Administrative Support: Handle various administrative tasks, including managing petty cash, filing, and maintaining financial records.
Other Duties: Perform any other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a related role is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Knowledge: Familiarity with Philippine tax laws, PFRS, and BIR compliance requirements.
Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data accurately.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
Ethical Conduct: High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information discreetly.
Working Conditions:
Work Hours: Typically Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
Work Environment: Office-based, with the possibility of remote work depending on company policies.
Salary Range:
PHP 11,154.00 to PHP 12,454.00 per month, for fresher applicants.
