JOB SUMMARY:This role involves managing the day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, cash management, and compliance with taxation laws. The Accounts Manager will also be critical in the department's financial planning, audit preparation, and process improvement.Key Responsibilities:Supervise preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Manage the reconciliation of account statements, bank statements, and ledgers across all branches and departments.Monitor daily cash flow and ensure the efficient management of company funds.Authorize and oversee all cash transactions, including cash transfers, bank deposits, and payment approvals (RTGS, NEFT, etc.).Supervise the processing of invoices, payment of bills, and management of direct and indirect expenses.Ensure compliance with all statutory tax obligations, including GST, TDS, and income tax.Oversee the preparation and filing of GST returns and TDS returns.Manage advance tax payments and ensure timely filing of income tax returns for the company and its directors.Coordinate with external auditors to ensure proper audit trails and compliance with financial regulations.Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, ensuring high levels of performance and adherence to company policies.Conduct regular meetings with the accounts team to review performance, resolve issues, and streamline processes.Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with audit requirements.Identify areas for improvement in accounting processes and implement best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.Manage the preparation of audit reports, financial summaries, and compliance documentation.Assist in financial planning and budgeting processes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.Analyze financial data and trends to support strategic decision-making.Monitor and manage the company's financial risks, ensuring robust financial controls are in place.Ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks such as stock transfers, payroll processing, and insurance renewals.Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.Oversee the maintenance and update of company records, including trade licenses, insurance policies, and mutual fund investments.Job Type: Full-timeEducation:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)Total work: 5 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Chartered Accountant (Preferred)Work Location: In person
