Motec is a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty camera systems and specializes in the development and production of camera-based driver assistance systems (ADAS) for commercial vehicles and mobile machinery. We are a medium-sized German company with nearly 30 years of experience in the design and manufacture of rugged, reliable cameras and mobile electronics. Motec is part of AMETEK Inc, a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical products.


To strengthen our Finance department we are looking for a full-time dedicated Accounts Payable Accountant (m,f,d)


What tasks await you?


Independent processing and handling of accounts payable
Checking, allocating and processing incoming invoices
Posting invoices with and without purchase order reference in compliance with the approval process
Reconciliation of accounts payable
Regular analysis of accrual requirements for monthly/quarterly closing
Preparation and execution of payment runs
Collaboration on the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Preparation of reports and evaluations
Concur travel expense accounting
Maintenance of master data


What do we expect from you?


Successfully completed training as an industrial clerk or equivalent training as well as functionally relevant professional experience
Relevant professional experience in the relevant specialist area
Very good MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
Very good knowledge of English and good German language skills
Knowledge of MS Navision would be an advantage
Ability to work under pressure, flexibility as well as a solution-oriented way of working
Customer-oriented communication skills
Team spirit as well as independent way of working in a global environment
