Role OverviewAs a Senior SDET, you'll combine the coding skills of a developer with the testing expertise of a quality assurance engineer. In this role, you'll develop innovative test automation solutions and contribute to the advancement of automation frameworks, supporting a modern continuous integration and delivery environment. Working alongside software developers and data scientists, you'll participate in creating automated testing solutions across integration, UI, backend, database, API, microservices, and more.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with product owners, subject matter experts, and agile teams to define testing strategies and approaches.Participate in agile development cycles to design, build, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.Contribute to the selection and configuration of testing tools, environments, and infrastructure.Identify data requirements and create and maintain test data.Report on testing progress and quality, engaging in test planning and issue resolution.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics).At least 3 years of experience in quality engineering automation, covering areas such as UI, system, integration, API, and performance/load testing.Proven experience developing test scripts in a Behavior-Driven (BDD) and/or Test-Driven Development (TDD) environment.Experience with UI automation frameworks.Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming, ideally with languages like Python or Java.Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile Scrum methodologies.Strong SQL skills; experience working in regulated environments is a plus.Experience with containerization tools and API testing (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Postman, JMeter) is beneficial.Self-motivated and adaptable, with strong multitasking abilities and proficiency in written and verbal English.Comfortable working remotely within a distributed team.Salary:$4000 - $5500/monthAbout AdevaAdeva is an exclusive network of engineers, product and data professionals that connects consultants with leading enterprise organizations and startups.
