Role Description This is a full-time role but we are open to it being a part-time position for the right person. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the founders in various tasks to drive the company's growth and success. Role Overview: As Operations & Admin at TrustWorks.io, you will work directly with the founders, wearing multiple hats to support the company's day-to-day operations. This position includes managing financial transactions, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring that the internal workings of the company run smoothly. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of a growing startup and play a critical role in its success. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee all financial transactions, including invoice and receipt management, accounts payable and receivable, and ensure accurate data entry for well-organized financial records. Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records. Prepare and maintain financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss statement, Cash Flow statement). Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and providing insights into financial performance to guide decision-making. Collaborate with external accountants and auditors during financial reviews to ensure compliance with financial regulations. Operational Efficiency: Develop, implement, and optimize internal processes to enhance operational efficiency and support the company's growth. Ensure that the day-to-day operations are executed effectively, and that the company's goals are achieved in a timely manner. Support HR tasks such as posting recruitment ads, managing the onboarding process for new hires, and assisting with relocation needs. Strategic Support: Work closely with the founders to provide strategic input and support in key decision-making processes. Take on special projects and cross-functional tasks that drive the company's success, including market research, product management support, and partner engagement. General Administration: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations across the company. Handle communication and coordination with external partners, clients, and vendors. What We're Looking For: Experience & Skills: Experience in bookkeeping. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish. Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports. Familiarity with the startup environment and a good understanding of startup culture. Experience in operations management or a similar role within a fast-growing company is a plus. Attributes: Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Affinity for technology, data privacy, or the tech industry is a strong advantage. A collaborative team player who is also comfortable working independently. Why Join Us?
