We are seeking a skilledTooling Designerto join our team in São Paulo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and creating tools and tooling for use in industrial environments, specifically for aeronautics projects. You will work closely with engineers and other professionals to understand project requirements and use your creativity and technical expertise to develop innovative, functional tools. Your role will also include testing and refining tools to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to understand project requirements and specifications.
Design and develop tooling projects from conception to detailing using Catia V5.
Create tooling projects such as assembly templates, structures, handling carts, platforms, drilling masks, and more.
Ensure that tools are efficient, functional, and meet safety standards.
Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for tool production.
Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to oversee the production process.
Test and evaluate the performance of tools.
Make necessary adjustments or modifications to improve tool functionality.Qualifications:
Education in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technician level.
Experience in developing tooling projects for the aeronautical sector.
Proficient in Catia V5 software.
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Ability to manage customer requirements; conversational Spanish is desirable.Skills:
