Role Summary
An experienced, ambitious, and proactive individual is responsible for a portfolio of Brazilian Grains clients. The successful individual will be required to work autonomously, and as part of a team, and directly engage with both existing and new or potential clients. The role will include:
Driving the sales strategy across Brazil geographies for Grains clients.
Creating value and capturing revenues from the existing client base as well as developing your own new client pipeline.
Working with brokers across Marex, and other divisions of the firm to drive synergies and potential new business opportunities.
Liaising with Internal Stakeholders across the business (including but not limited to Credit, Compliance, Legal, Onboarding, Operations, Trading, and Risk) to ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures regarding day-to-day business activity and client communication.
Responsibilities
This position is for an OTC Commodities Sales (Grains) role within the Hedging Solutions team, based in Brazil. Key responsibilities include:
Sales of OTC Commodities derivatives within the Brazil markets (with a focus on Grains clients).
Supporting senior team members with coverage of existing clients, onboarding of new clients, and business development workflows.
Over time, you will be expected to build and manage your own direct client base, contributing to the growth of the Brazil OTC Grains business, leveraging the Marex Agile Platform to attract new, sticky revenues.
Ensuring that actions and behaviours are always in line with the Company's policies & procedures in a regulated role.
Responsible for assisting with the onboarding of any new client relationships and maintaining existing client relationships, assisting with support processes as required by colleagues, and engaging and updating clients.
Working efficiently and supporting with making efficiencies e.g. assisting in the preparation of any new required frameworks.
Strategising to increase P&L, requiring analysis of markets and products.
Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the FCA, NFA, AMF, AFM, MAS, and/or any other relevant regulatory body.
Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company-determined parameters are complied with.
Role model for demonstrating the highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
At all times complying with Marex's Code of Conduct.
Carrying out regulatory activities under the Marex Financial trading books.

Skills and Experience
You will have a sound understanding of global commodities (in particular Grains) markets and OTC Grains products, and how these can be structured to help clients to manage their underlying commodity price risks and exposures.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills with a proven track record of building strong long-lasting relationships.
Comprehensive knowledge of the financial service markets and relevant regulatory requirements.
Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
