Koch Agronomic Services ("KAS") is seeking a candidate to fulfill the role of Brazil Agronomist to support the growth and value proposition of our products in Brazil, working directly with KAS customers and their customers (retailers, large farmers) in the country. This position will report to the regional Director of Agronomy LAMSAO (Latin-America, Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia/Oceania) and a dotted line with Brazil Sales Director. There is a strong preference for the position to be based in Paraná or Rio Grande do Sul, although locations within the country would be considered based on candidate's qualification and suitability and customer's needs. The position requires traveling 40% to 60% of the time, mostly in country.

What You Will Do
Communicate the value proposition of current products through technical training and presentations:
In person and remote sessions with customer's Agronomy and Sales teams.
In person visits to distributors, retailers, and large growers.
Presentations at tradeshows, field-days, conferences and other events.
Lead KAS's agronomic research of commercial products to evaluate and demonstrate their value proposition in different crops across Brazil (develop plan, protocols, prepare and deliver samples, analyze and interpret results).
Convert technical and trial data into commercial information in cooperation with Director of Agronomy.
Collect testimonials, photographs/videos, and other materials to support the development of promotional materials.
Review protocols developed by Technical Commercial Coordinator for field demonstrations (demo-plots; side-by-side).
Support product registration activities.
Build and maintain a strong and respected regional knowledge network of technical specialists and influencers (consultants, researchers in private and public institutions) and represent KAS at Brazilian trade and scientific organizations (ex. Brazilian Soil Science Society).
Gather market intelligence information, market trends, and voice of customer.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
BS degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, or other related fields.
+3 years of experience in a similar role in fertilizer or crop nutrition in Brazil.
Deep knowledge of Brazilian agronomic practices especially pertaining to fertilizer use.
Engaging and dynamic oral presentation skills.
Native or fully fluent in verbal and written Portuguese.
Advanced English language skills.
Ability to work with MS Office tools.
What Will Put You Ahead
MS degree or specialization in Agronomy, Soil Science, Crop Nutrition or related fields.
+5 year of experience in a similar role in fertilizer or crop nutrition in Brazil.
Spanish skills.
