**What you will be doing**

The Talent & Learning Manager contributes to Talent & learning management policies, design and active deployment throughout the organisation.
In general, the role is responsible for:
**Development, delivery of processes, programs and policies**:

- Drive program for Talent Mgt / L&D goalsetting and the development of L&D curriculum
- Ensure the delivery of talent & learning activities, with a focus on Experience, Education & exposure: develop and design specific Umicore learning initiatives, supported by the creation of own tools & processes (i.e.
Talent cycle, high potential programs, Leadership Series, Lunch 'n Learn, blended solutions, intervision circles,
- )
- Co-design and continuously evolve the Talent & learning strategies in support of the business
- Support the development, coordination of Talent Management projects across Umicore.
Responsible for activation in region.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of a learning catalogue.

**Collaborate & align**:

- Provide analytics & metrics to the Talent Mgt to drive continuous improvement
- Support the Talent & Learning Leads with the operationalization of Talent & learning programs and strategies in a consistent and effective way
- Act as an 'internal consultant' for specific Technical Academies.
**Execution**:

- Ensure roll-out and delivery of talent management, upskilling and reskilling programs; as well as allocated global programs' design & regional deployment (eg core curriculum, leadership, culture, D&I)
- Support in the execution of Talent Management processes in the Americas region, eg Talent Management Cycle; internal mobility, etc.
- Support the building of and the set-up of academies and involved communities

**Subject Matter Expert**

**Who we are looking for**
- Strong expertise and experience should encompass all functional areas in scope of the Talent & Learning Mgt role
- Demonstrates strong HR acumen and can tie solutions to business outcomes, and overall employee performance
- Demonstrates a research-minded approach and solid general consulting skills
- Strong facilitation skills, strong presenter.
Knowledge of instructional design.
- Knowledge of self-authoring tools, willing to develop skillset & build expertise on designing e-learning solutions where needed
- Knowledge of SF modules on talent & training management
- Ability to innovate new ways to continuously improve processes and tools in scope of the CoE
- Relentlessly explores opportunities, tackles problems, and discovers and implements new ways of working to create more data to guide accurate decision-making
- Operates with the complete story in mind and ability to understand and plan for interconnections with other CoE HR functional areas
- Ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to effectively partner with business and HR stakeholders
- Strong data analysis skills to drive key insights
- Influences decisions to produce positive business outcomes
- Maintains a strong external network providing access to best practices and innovation
- Implement and measure a metrics-based approach to achieve Umicore's desired KPIs
- Produces thought leadership content based on research
- Strong influencing skills and ability to work across multiple levels of the enterprise
