Monitor the daily data processing pipelines in a cloud native environment to the Origin panel in UK; ensuring various outputs are generated as scheduled, quality checking the output, reporting on the delivery of files, carrying out parameter-changes and performance tests on systems.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesInstall new software releases to the live environment after they have been accepted by Data Operation & Quality Control to a planned install date;Overseeing the completion of data collection and audio matching for TV & VM;Monitoring data processing through all stages of production cycle;Install and test new bespoke software releases to ensure processing runs acceptably, scheduled correctly, and produces output as expected;Liaise closely with Applications Development and Support teams to identify any production bottlenecks or upgrades that will feed into the refresh cycle;Manage, maintain, and deploy Kubernetes clusters;Test changes to configurations and system changes to non-production servers.Technical Skills:Good knowledge in Containers/Linux.Personal Skills:Good written and fluent oral communication in English (B2 level);Excellent relationship building and communication skills with internal stakeholders and panel members;Willingness to learn new cloud-related technologies whilst managing day-to-day tasks;Proactive and strong self-motivated team player who is happy to lend a hand when needed;Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrable experience of working to deadlines;Attention to detail – candidate must have an eye for small changes to help identify mistakes;Independent in managing workloads using one's own initiative to progress fundamental projects;Ability to multitask with a flexible attitude to work;Strong interpersonal skills as they will be engaged with various teams – hence, emotional intelligence is welcomed.Qualifications & KnowledgeDegree in technology sciences, engineering, data analytics or similar;Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and independence in managing workloads;Fluency in English;Knowledge of Terraform and Helm for infrastructure deployment;Familiarity with system monitoring tools like Zabbix;Fluency in Spanish.Our OfferAt Kantar Media, we have an integrated way of rewarding our people based on a simple, clear, and consistent set of principles.
