You will be part of the group of controlling analysts that performs distinct activities with specific skills that uses their differences to complement and help each other in the Buses Latin America business control. Our team provide business analysis and financial direction to our organization from product development to production, commercialization till aftermarket, being part of the planning and the executing process.
All of that with constant interaction with the business leader's financial community in both Curitiba and Global Organizations.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Financial planning and analysis on two main processes by applying Volvo Group financial policies and principles:
Project Control: Project feasibility evaluation, project budgeting, follow up and evaluation of financial impacts on product cost, local content and profitability. Support Material Cost Evaluation (MCE) Controlling in product cost variance analysis, and a strong collaboration with Engineering, Purchasing and Cost Engineers bringing the product cost management culture into the cross functional work.
Being responsible for supporting Project Manager with all financial data and analysis as well material preparation for decision boards.
R&D Control: Controlling of Curitiba R&D (OPEX & CAPEX) from budget to follow up of actuals and KPI's. Being also the local super user for Score.
All the above must be carried out on a continuous improvement basis.
WHO ARE YOU? (REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE) Experienced in Finance or Business Control; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, Economics or correlated; Good financial analytical view being able to understand the end-to-end financial impacts on the areas or responsibility; Knowledge on Project Financial Evaluation (financial feasibility evaluation as IRR, NPV, payback); Basic engineering/technical background is a plus; Microsoft Office package advanced user – mainly in Excel (Data analytics as a plus); Good English knowledge, both spoken as written; SAP knowledge. BCS, Hyperion, Essbase or Score systems is a plus; Customer oriented; Good communication skills, being able to present and defend your position at the same time as building partnerships.
