Maintaining accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and information related to supplies and inventory.
Assisting the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including generating financial reports, developing budgets, preparing taxes, and assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies.
Communicating with other departments to understand, discuss account, charges, or discrepancies.
Manage day-to-day accounting routines, reviewing appropriate approval from respective department managers, and assist in applying correct general ledger account coding.
Responsible for preparing COGS and stock controls on timely basis.
Must often communicate with other team members to establish proper record-keeping and to ensure that everyone is aware of how transactions are processed.QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIESBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
4-5 years experience
More education or experience is often required.
Understanding of accounting principles (IFRS) and current financial legislation.
Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong math and research skills.
Basic computer skills with knowledge of bookkeeping software.
Organized and detail oriented.
Ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data.
Bilingual preferred, English and Spanish.
