The Inbound Transportation Analyst supports the carrier management team in the daily operations, creating and collecting valuable data that contribute to the decision-making process to strive for lean operations for imports and inbound pay programs.
This is a temporary six-month role. Key job responsibilitiesSupport the ground transportation operation from the 1st mile (Inbound and Imports)Align on a weekly basis the metrics with the different carriersFollow up with the carriers, collecting guides and solving daily problemsFollow up on incidents with the different carriersSearch for information and follow up on the guides that have a topic for deliverySupport the Carrier during the units positioningTrack the units until reaching FC for their download and inbound processReview loads to avoid delays in the departure of inbound servicesSupport billing issues, attending meetings and reviewing any pending issues with brokersFollow up on carrier performance and commitments from meetings A day in the lifeThe terrific communication and approach with the carriers are the main goals for the Inbound Transportation Analyst for a success story inside Amazon. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, or statistics.
