Role reports to: R&D Analytical Self Care
What you will do The R&D Analytical Scientist is responsible for delivering the analytical projects for the Self-Care portfolio (Drug Products and Drug Substances) supporting Latin America in local and regional scope.
This individual will independently lead the strategy and execution of analytical project deliverables supporting Latin America in regional and global projects. This includes defining the analytical strategy, execution planning, timing, resource requirements and interdependencies to complete the project deliverables.
This individual will write and review technical documents including analytical method assessments, method validation/transfer protocols, and reports in compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements. R&D Analytical Senior Scientist will also have the responsibility to develop, validate and transfer test methods to the quality control laboratory and will lead lab activities related to troubleshooting, lab investigations and material characterization, running analysis and independently operating equipment such as HPLC/UPLC, GC-FID, among others.
Key Responsibilities Participate in the analytical strategy of the projects and lead the execution (development, validation, transfer, investigations, etc.);Define analytical deliverables, ensure proper stakeholders are involved;Execution of method development, validation and method transfer to the quality control laboratory, and also for its related activities (test method creation/revision, change controls, support investigations, etc.);Represent the analytical team in the discussion forums for the projects;Write and review technical documents including analytical method assessments, protocols and reports in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements;Communicate clearly with the internal organization (Kenvue Self Care related areas – Regulatory, Product Development, Quality & Compliance, etc.);Collaborate effectively with project members following priorities, checkpoints, and timelines in support of objectives;Prepare technical documents related to method validation and method transfers (protocols, reports and technical assessments);Communicate issues which require escalation;Sense of urgency is needed to actively respond to problems and opportunities.Qualifications What we are looking for Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or equivalent field;Strong background/experience in analytical laboratory environment and instrumental techniques (HPLC, UPLC, CG);High expertise on method validation and method transfer execution;Deep knowledge about the regulations and/or guidelines related to method development & validation for drug products, drug substance;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Ability to work independently and in a team environment;Advanced English (oral and written communication).Desired Qualifications Experience in the pharmaceutical industry;Strong technical writing skills;Familiarity with chromatographic relevant software (e.g: Empower);Strong written and oral communication;Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.What's in it for you Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time & More!Learning & Development Opportunities;Employee Resource Groups;This list could vary based on location/region.*Note: Total Rewards at Kenvue include salary, bonus (if applicable) and benefits.
