As an Accounts Receivable Representative at C.H. Robinson, the responsibilities include ensuring invoices are accurately issued in a timely and efficient manner, researching problems, and resolving standard disputes to meet important deadlines. The Accounts Receivable team operates in a fast-paced, process-driven environment, managing various aspects of the Accounts Receivable function.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Compile amounts owed by the company to vendors or other individuals, or owed to the company by customers or clients, and input figures into the accounting system.
Receive and distribute invoices, verifying accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
Enter invoice amounts into the accounting system and process invoices or payments.
Reconcile amounts received or owed by comparing invoices to POs or other records.
Respond to inquiries from customers or clients and research and resolve concerns or discrepancies.
Support ideas for process improvement.
Develop professional relationships with internal and external partners, maintain open lines of communication, and build rapport by providing timely and professional service.
Continue to develop skills and build upon knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes.
Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country-specific requirements.QualificationsRequired:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Preferred:
Minimum 1 year of experience using accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
Working knowledge of Oracle.
Ability to perform in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
