DESCRIPTION:
Works closely within a team environment to process ancillary transportations costs, namely Per Diem, Chassis charges and Rail related expenses.
Coordinator also performs critical cost/data analysis based on invoicing to aid in minimizing costs and maximizing recovery.
- Receive and process incoming invoices (chassis usage, per diem, rail storage and lifts) from Intermodal Equipment Providers.
- Enter relevant data for all incoming charges into the appropriate spreadsheet or database
- Create and reconcile vendor statements
- Coordinate payments, credits, and accruals with CPG?s accounting team
- Stay in communication with CPG terminals and depots regarding chassis usage or per diem changes
- Rebill chassis cost or container per diem directly to the shipper where agreements require
- Process Comchek requests as received from Terminal level (confirm rebill, issue payment, record data)
- Prepare and send monthly reports for chassis usage, container per diem, comchek payments
- Assist with day-to-day management of other Equipment Cost Management functions
