**Responsibilities**:
**What will you work on**:
- Tracking and monitoring of government discussions and new proposal of public policies, regulatory and operational issues that impact our business, such as obesity related agenda, labeling, taxation, environmental and social policies
- Map stakeholders in the legislative and executive branches, including government agencies in partnership with our consultancy; civil society representatives, NGOs and other key-actors in the municipal and state level
- Draft written communications with government officials, build and review briefings and presentations for stakeholder meetings
- Review, analyze, summarize and distribute to other departments proposed, amended, and newly enacted municipal and state guidance that impact the company, including legislation, regulations and other policy developments.
- Work with key opinion leaders and trade organizations on municipal and state matters impacting the business.
- Collaborate with PPGA team and the business to develop policy positions in support of advocacy efforts with key stakeholders outside the organization.
- Provide input during multi-departmental project teams to assure that government affairs strategies and the regulatory agencies requirements are incorporated as part of the company's proposal and processes
- Lead interactions with our consulting company in the state level, outside agencies such as VISA, CETESB and other health surveillance and environment agencies and the municipal and state level, to support the operation and regulatory teams.
- Develop partnerships with stakeholders and positive agenda with PepsiCo executives
- Support the the companies' leaders on crisis management and engagement with government officials to address issues and concerns impacting our operations, while mitigating potential economic impact.
- Deploy an engagement strategy with local authorities and communities in the adjacency of strategic facilities by designing and deploying a plan to contain the disruptive impact of our plants in its immediate surroundings and by leading regular meetings with local authorities and community leaders.
- Develop partnerships with stakeholders and positive agenda with PepsiCo key executives
- Work with internal clients to map new business opportunities and risks: fiscal incentives, reputation earnings, stakeholder engagementResearching the legislative priorities of specific legislative committees and policymakers to understand their approach and opportunities to PepsiCo
- Analyzing specific legislative vehicles and NGOs with a direct impact, with an eye towards the team deliverable
- Articulate and support the government affairs team in relating with municipal and state representatives of the government
- Attend and influence working group meetings at trade associations, industry federations and other institutions
- Supporting the business in operational issues in interlocution with the government to obtain licenses and permits,
- Leadership in negotiating the industry's voluntary pledges, influence in building and reviewing positioning materials for industry associations
- Coordinate government official visits at the company's units
- Building reports in English for the global team
Qualifications:

- BA or equivalent: Political Science, Public Administration, International Relations, Communications or Law.
