We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analytics Engineering Intern to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will support the transformation of raw data into actionable insights, helping the company make data-driven decisions that contribute to business growth.
As an Analytics Engineering Intern, you will work closely with the data team and business stakeholders to assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of data models and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Data Modeling Support: Assist in developing and optimizing data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
Help maintain and update existing data models as business requirements evolve.
ETL Development Support: Support the development, testing, and maintenance of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and flow.
Collaborate with the team to help ensure the quality and reliability of data pipelines.
Data Warehousing Assistance: Assist in the management and optimization of data warehouses to support analytics and reporting.
Help ensure data warehouses are scalable, reliable, and secure.
Reporting & Dashboards: Work with team members to design and develop dashboards and reports using tools like Google Looker Studio.
Ensure that dashboards are user-friendly and support various business units.
Collaboration: Work alongside business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements with guidance.
Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay informed about trends in data engineering and analytics.
Seek opportunities to improve skills in data processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Some familiarity with SQL.
Basic knowledge of Python is a plus.
Interest in learning Google Looker Studio or similar tools for dashboarding.
Familiarity with Airflow, BigQuery, or other cloud platforms is an asset.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
