As an intern in the area of Application Engineering you will have the opportunity to interact and learn from Senior Application Engineers providing technical support, helping Cadence customers to effectively deploy our industry leading Verification products.
You will be in a team working with our customers to understand their needs and provide guidance on the best technologies and methodologies to enable their success, coming up with innovate solutions to address our customers' most challenging problems..
This role will be focused on Cadence products on the Hardware Emulation and Prototyping domain: Palladium, Protium and other tools.
**Requirements**:

- Be enrolled as a BS student in one of the areas listed above
- Interest in RTL coding and reading
- Interest in Digital Design Fundamentals

Nice to have skills
- Knowledge of Verilog is a plus
- Knowledge of SystemVerilog is a plus
- Knowledge of scripting languages Tcl, Perl, Python is a plus
- Passion for architecting and developing solutions
- Good problem solving and debugging skills
- Knowledge in English (written and oral communication skills) is a plus

- Internship term: 20 hours/week
- Location: Avenida do Contorno, 5800 - Savassi - Belo Horizonte/MG
