While several AI companies are working on tools to boost professional software developer productivity (e.g. AI coding assistants & autocomplete), Sticky is looking ahead to the goal of removing the need for humans to edit code entirely, at least within the context of small sandboxed games.
Although the Sticky B2C app is fun & friendly and focuses on games, the technical challenges we are researching and tackling to power it are cutting-edge and also being studied at top AI labs around the world.

The Position:
Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer (tech lead/CTO level) focusing on the AI software engineering tool at Sticky's core.
Responsibilities:
Lead a small team of engineers, taking responsibility for team deliverables in terms of deadlines and quality.
Resolve complex and open-ended technical challenges related to our AI application and anticipate problems and opportunities, based on latest generative AI research.
Engage directly with code and testing — leading by example in proactivity, productivity, deadlines, communication, bug-free development, and best practices—not just managing.
Requirements:
Prior experience as a senior AI or software engineer, tech lead, or CTO.
Deep knowledge of generative AI application using approaches & tools such as chain-of-thought workflows, retrieval-augmented-generation, fine-tuning, prompt-engineering, eval, etc.
Strong understanding of principles of neural network model architecture & training, including language, diffusion and multimodal models, transformers; supervised, unsupervised & reinforcement learning, etc.
Familiarity with relevant programming languages (such as Python and Javascript), frameworks such as LangChain, and software tools.
Solid generalist software engineering skills & experience.
Deep interest in AI
Desire to work in a startup with a small team on an innovative product and challenging problems.
Determination and resilience to work in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
Curiosity and creativity to explore open-ended problems.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent from a top university. Relevant advanced degree or research is a strong plus.
