The successful candidate will develop and/or lead academic research projects with the aim of publishing in the field's highest quality journals.
The position is permanent with a full-time contract.
Salary and conditions are competitive, in line with international standards.
SKEMA Business School offers publication bonuses for peer-reviewed publications.
The language of work and teaching is English.
Knowledge of French is not required and is not a criterion for selection.

QUALIFICATIONS MUST INCLUDE
• A Ph.D. in Accounting or a related field.
• For the assistant professor position:
o Promising research prospects, visible through a high-quality pipeline of papers targeting top-level journals, in areas consistent with the specializations of current Faculty members.
o Initial teaching experience in the relevant disciplinary area.
o Ability to work as part of a team in a collegial environment.
o Strong oral and written communication skills.
o Commitment to service and/or outreach activities commensurate with the rank of assistant professor.
• For the associate professor position:
o Research in areas consistent with the specializations of current Faculty; visible through an established record of high-quality publications.
o Proven ability to deliver quality teaching at different levels (UG, master…).
o A significant commitment to service and/or outreach activities.
o Ability to work as part of a team in a collegial environment, and the willingness to contribute to the activities of the Academy and the Research Center.
EXPECTATIONS
• Publish peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals.
• Teach courses in accounting and related areas.
• Supervise master students.
• Show academic citizenship, commit to the life of the institution, and contribute to projects related to the School's strategy.

ABOUT RESEARCH
The successful candidate will be part of the FAIRR Research Center, which is dedicated to producing high quality academic research in Finance and Accounting.
The research center comprises about 25 faculty members in finance and accounting and PhD students.
FAIRR members are particularly focused on developing high-level expertise in the areas of digital finance, entrepreneurial finance, governance, household finance, intermediaries, corporate restructuring, sustainability, disclosure and financial regulation, alongside other corporate finance, market finance and accounting topics.
We organize regular research seminars on the three French campuses, host international workshops and run a PhD program with a dedicated Finance & Accounting track.
Our researchers have access to a wide range of databases, including WRDS (CRSP, Compustat, WorldScope, ISS, IBES...), DealScan, SDC, Datastream etc.
Our members have presented their papers at academic and professional conferences and international institutions.
