Over the recent years, Credit Saison has been successfully ramping up its private debt investments in Southeast Asia and India, offering senior debt capital to new age lenders, Fintech startups, and tech platforms (embedded finance) with a primary focus on the tech-led innovation and financial inclusion.In February 2023, Credit Saison Brazil Participacoes Sociedade Limitada (CSBR) was established as a subsidiary with the aim of expanding its business in the country by investing in FIDC quota investments.About the RoleAs an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasury, you will hold a pivotal role in the financial operations of the company, combining expertise in financial planning, financial analysis, budget control, cash management, banking relations. Your strategic insights will be crucial for optimizing financial performance and guiding decision-making processes. Additionally, this role involves close coordination with the International Headquarters (IHQ) in Singapore and the Holding Company in Japan, requiring you to work closely with these teams on key assumptions and strategic planning.ResponsibilitiesBudget Preparation and Monitoring:Develop the company's annual budget, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial goals.Monitor budget vs actual performance, identifying variances and root causes.Provide insights and recommendations to ensure alignment with financial goals.Implement strategies to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiencies.Work closely with department heads to understand budgetary requirements and challenges.Financial Planning, Analysis and Modelling:Build and update the 5-year financial plan, aligned with the company's long-term strategy.Develop comprehensive financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.Conduct detailed financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.Prepare variance analysis reports and provide recommendations for performance improvement.Conduct financial and feasibility analyses for new projects and investments.Treasury Operations - Cash Management, Banking Control:Prepare the short-term cash flow forecast.Monitor daily cash balances and transactions to optimize cash flow management.Execute fund transfers and manage liquidity to meet operational needs.Manage banking relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with agreements.Oversee bank reconciliation processes and ensure accuracy of financial records.and, Other ad-hoc tasks assigned.Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant certification preferredAt least 8 years of experience in Finance positions, including FP&A and/or TreasuryStrong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and budget controlProject management & ability to coordinate multiple stakeholdersNative or bilingual proficiency in Portuguese & English (CEFR C1 or above)An independent self-starter, able to take initiatives and be accountable for work assigned as a problem solver, not a criticProven ability to multi-task with high attention to detailAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office packageAble to adapt quickly with fluidity of mindsetAbility and willingness to think outside the box and explore innovative solutionsAble to commute to the office in Sao Paulo a few times a weekHappy & sunny personalities and enjoy working in a small teamProven experience in managing relationships with banking institutions can be a plus"We don't hire smart people to tell them what to do.We hire smart people so that they can tell us what to do."Steve Jobs
