ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT

Associate Director, Safety & Environment This position will be a part of the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Operational Excellence team and will support projects and teams in the realization of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Transformational Change Management.
This position will work with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) colleagues to identify problems, build a business case/urgency for change, gain sponsorship, develop and track project plans, design the communication strategy, and establish ongoing metrics for program health.
This position will develop and execute the strategy for the simplification, optimization, and acceleration of select Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs.
Position may be located at any Company site.
Specific objectives include.
Develop and implement a strategic vision to manage the EHS Transformational Change program by establishing a process for realization of change and tracking of program health.
Directly manage contracted resources to support EHS Priority Projects.
Manage the global Incident Investigation and Case Management programs.
Develop, track, and communicate metrics to identify program health and program strategy.
Develop and implement a systematic process for identifying innovative solutions that accelerate EHS Programs (and assist in driving EHS Compliance at global sites).
Position Qualifications.
Education Minimum RequirementBachelor's degree.
Concentration in environmental, safety, or related technical discipline preferred.
Required Experience and Skills.
7+ years of progressive leadership experience.
Team player capable of working collaboratively within a global, multi-functional team environment within and outside of the EHS organization.
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.
Experience working with and implementing innovative solutions.
Direct experience implementing and sustaining programs.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to influence both horizontally and vertically within an organization.
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Teams).
Detailed knowledge in creating, displaying, and communicating metrics to advance programs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize based on customer needs and business goals.
Preferred Experience and Skills.
Direct experience managing a site or corporate level EHS programs.

Hybrid Work Model Effective September our U.

Hybrid work model will be as follows.
1.
Three total days on site per week.
Tuesday and Wednesday - plus one additional day of choice based on what works best for organizations and/or teams.
2.
Fridays will formally be a remote-working day unless business critical tasks require onsite presence.
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job.
Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
