Rimini Street, Inc. (Nasdaq: RMNI), a global provider of enterprise software support, products, and services, is seeking an Associate Support Engineer, Security for a remote position in Brazil.
Position Summary
The Associate Support Engineer, Security will manage and proactively support Rimini Street security solutions under the guidance of a Security Solutions Architect.
Responsibilities include managing security measures, troubleshooting security problems, responding to security breaches, ensuring data protection, and collaborating with the Global Security Services teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures
Troubleshooting security problems and responding to breaches
Enabling appropriate security controls
Reporting to senior management on security issues
Participating in client meetings and change management process
Communicating with team members and clients
Staying updated on cybersecurity trends
Working under pressure with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Education
A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related field
Location
Remote - Brazil
Experience
2 years of incident detection, incident response, and forensics experience.
Previous experience with Firewalls and Endpoint Security.
Qualification & Skills
Linux/Windows knowledge, basic coding skills, cybersecurity awareness, communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and analytical mindset.
