- 00300We're looking for an **AU Tax Accountant **who prepares, reviews and analyzes financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, sole traders, and superannuation funds.

You will be working with one of the leading accounting firms on the Gold Coast and Tweed Heads (Northern NSW).
**What are the daily tasks?
**
The AU Tax Accountant will support executives with their clients in accounting, and bookkeeping services including AU Tax for corporate entities and smaller groups of clients- Will support the offshore team in processing and lodgment of tax returns for their clients
- At least 3 years of strong experience in AU Tax, preparing BAS, IAS
- Preparation and lodgment of monthly and quarterly BAS, IAS, and annual FBT return with the ATO
- Preparation of tax compliance for various entity structures within diverse industries
- Assist with business and process improvement
- Maintain accurate records for audit purposes
- Assist with administration processes from time to time
- Scope of the role covers preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements and Annual GST Returns, reconciliations, super payments, invoices, AU income tax laws, and completing tax returns
- Will support clients, including stakeholder management

**Requirements**:
- Completed a CPA or a graduate Accounting degree
- 3-5 years combined experience in accounting and bookkeeping including AU taxation
- Excellent communication skills
- Xero experience is a must
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Client-focused
- Exceptional attention to detail

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
