Job Description: One of our largest consumer goods & services clients in the e-commerce space is looking for a strong Automation & DevOps Engineer to sit remotely in Brazil.
This is a rolling contract position that should extend every 3 months.
You will be focusing on: Infrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain infrastructure using code.
Interaccount Networking: Manage networking between accounts, including peer authentication and security implementations.
Private Subnets & Gateways: Set up private subnets, peer to other accounts, and configure transit gateways.
Containerization : Containerize Linux applications and ensure they scale automatically.
DNS Resolutions: Handle DNS resolutions and reach out to other accounts for hosting.
Automation : Implement automation using Lambdas, CodePipeline, and CodeBuild.
Required Skills & Experience: Years of experience: 5+ years in AWS automation and interservice operability.
Skills : Proficiency in Route 53, VPN, WAF, Systems Manager, AWS networking (private subnetting, private VPCs, IP whitelisting).
Coding : Ability to write code to accept accesses from another account.
Cloud Networking/DevOps: Expertise in CloudFormation or similar platforms.
VPC Peering & IAM: Experience with cross-account VPC peering, IAM roles, subnet and transit gateway routing.
Network Performance: Monitoring experience with iPerf, session management, system-level IPv4 performance, and synthetic testing.
Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot services on Linux, Windows, and AWS.
DNS & Security: Knowledge of DNS (Route 53), Resolver Rules, WAF, VPN, and private networks.
Auto-Scaling: Deep knowledge of Auto-Scaling groups.
Certifications: Advanced networking certifications are a plus.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Enterprise Deployments: Experience with large-scale deployments (1000s to 10000s of users).
Advanced Certifications: Networking and security certifications.
Scalable Solutions: Experience managing license servers and deploying user-facing applications.
Rate: $5000-$6900/ month USD
