Azure DevOps Solution Engineer – Senior We are looking for an Azure DevOps Solution Engineer with strong software engineering and cloud expertise (Azure required) for a SaaS/Web/Custom Development-based DevOps platform, including CI/CD, software tools management, and multi-platform infrastructure. Responsibilities: Lead and establish DevOps practices. Educate, influence, and collaborate with other solution engineers. Design end-to-end solutions in areas of automated build, deployment, monitoring, and server infrastructure. Quickly understand development lifecycle needs. Integrate technologies across diverse platforms. Collaborate with IT and business resources, presenting technical details to non-technical audiences. Duties: Proficient in multiple DevOps-related tools and technologies. Hands-on experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and all phases of the software development lifecycle. Strong technical documentation skills. Expert in Azure DevOps design. Source control management, including branching, integration, and merging techniques. Perform integrations for production builds and server hotfixes. Experience with application lifecycle management tools and source control systems, such as GIT, Azure DevOps/VSTS. Set up DevOps pipelines for projects (automated deployments with CI/CD workflows). Experience with software build and deploy tools such as Azure DevOps. Static code analysis for code quality and security – using SonarQube, Checkmarx, and WizCLI. Implement security measures in the software development lifecycle. Define and implement efficient end-to-end provisioning of automation solutions. Experience with Docker & Kubernetes. Exposure to configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar. Experience with cloud provisioning tools such as Terraform. Strong scripting experience in PowerShell or other scripting languages. Ensure adherence to standards, policies, and procedures. Integrate systems using a wide variety of protocols like REST, SOAP, MQ, TCP/IP, JSON, and others. Understand customer requirements and project KPIs. Mentor other engineers and technical analysts. Skills and Experience: 6 years of IT experience. Experience in cloud architecture and design with 2 or more years of experience automating IT administration, IT processes, or business processes. 3 to 5 years of experience with Azure DevOps tool in building build and deployment pipelines. Experience with microservices and distributed applications, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology. At least 2 years of programming experience in scripting languages like PowerShell. Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure. Strong knowledge in code review and security tools, such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, HCL Appscan, WizCLI, or others. Familiarity with security best practices and the ability to implement security measures in the software development lifecycle. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools like Selenium and unit testing frameworks. Experience in automating/integrating a broad range of systems and services using Terraform for any cloud platform like Azure. Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Azure Boards. Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or any other stack. B.A. or B.S. in Information Technology or related field. Strong leadership, partnership, and communication skills. Experience with IT architecture focused on reusability and automation. Ability to coordinate with all levels of the firm to design and deliver technical solutions to business problems.
