Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Backend Developer with a strong background in Python and internal systems.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and collaborating with front end developers and data scientists to create cutting-edge solutions to extract insights, improve processes, and drive innovation within our organization.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python to support our frontend applications and internal systems.
Leverage AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, RDS) to build and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure.
Work with SQL databases to design schemas, write queries, and optimize database performance for both transactional and analytical workloads.
Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality, end-to-end solutions.
Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and reliability of the backend systems.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and system stability.
Keep up with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our tech stack and development processes.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
Proficiency in working with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, RDS).
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, with experience in database design and query optimization.
Familiarity with RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures.
Experience with building HIPAA-compliant software
Knowledge of DevOps principles and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
