Description Important Information Location: Brazil Job Mode: CLT Work Mode: Work from home Job Summary As a backend developer, you will make significant contribution by implementing solutions using Python and Django or Ruby on Rails, as well as improving the project infrastructure by helping maintain and provision cloud resources in AWS, and contributing by delivering enhancements on automation, continuous delivery, observability, and security.
Responsibilities and Duties Develop solutions in Python/Django or Ruby on Rails; Perform AWS Cloud provisioning and administration; Maintain and improve a CI/CD pipeline; Digest requirement from product and development teams and design high performance DevOps pipelines; Raise and discuss trade-offs of different design approaches elaborating detailed design documents; Participate in technical discussions with customer operations and development team; Follow Agile processes and participate actively in all development phases, fostering a culture of collaboration; Lead technical discussions with the customer.
Essential Skills Experience with AWS Cloud including provisioning and operations activities (especially ECS/EC2, Load Balancer, S3, RDS, ECR); Knowledge/Experience in Python (Django) or Ruby on Rails; Knowledge/Experience in Infrastructure as Code/config management tools such as Terraform; Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and using AWS managed services such as ECS or EKS; Experience with Git; Comfortable with Linux Environment for development.
Highly Desirable Skills Knowledge on SQL databases; Experience with Microservice Architecture; Knowledge/experience in Agile development using Scrum or Kanban Methodolog.
