Backend Engineer

The RoleWe are looking for a lead backend engineer/architect who is passionate about software development, seeking a new challenge, and eager to lend their expertise to our rapidly growing start-up position. Join us in our mission to help new investors track and achieve their personal finance goals.Your responsibilities will include:Advocate for data-driven development, setting the standard through robust testing and mocking practices.Use the Node.js environment to create robust, secure, scalable code in JavaScript and Typescript programming languages.Utilize Nest JS framework.Design, build, optimize, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services.Work closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure a seamless user experience.Enhance the backend codebase for performance, reliability, and maintainability.Adhere to all quality standards.Ideal ProfileYou possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.You have at least 5 years of experience, ideally within a Software Engineer role.You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems.You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data.You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.Mastery of TypeScript and Node.js.Proven experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).Extensive experience as a lead engineer.Deep understanding of API design and microservice architecture.Excellent communication and leadership skills.What's on Offer?Leadership RoleExcellent career development opportunitiesGreat work environment
