All positions are CLT.About This OpportunityWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Reporting Developer to join our Business Intelligence and Analytics team as a Technical Lead. You will play a critical role in our migration from the current on-premises SSRS and SQL Server, Power BI and Tableau technology stack to an Azure-based Power BI solution. Additionally, you will guide the team in adopting Agile development practices to improve day to day efficiency within this reporting team. This role requires a hands-on expert proficient in Power BI, SQL Server, and Paginated Reports, with extensive experience in Agile methodologies. Our current on-premises SSRS solution uses an internally built data driven subscription model pulling data from centralized reporting databases. Our future state is an Azure Synapse data lake solution with Power BI dashboards and paginated tabular reports.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical guidance on the migration of our BI infrastructure from on-premises SSRS and SQL Server to an Azure-based, Power BI solution.Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards and paginated tabular reports.Assist the team in report development.Collaborate with data engineers and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity in reporting.Work with the current development team and business teams to design custom datamarts, pre-aggregated reporting tables, and data sets that are efficient and comprehensive enough to support our current suite of reports.Mentor and guide a team of 6 developers, focusing on upskilling and transitioning the team into an Agile development cycle.Develop and implement best practices for Power BI and data visualization, including the creation of reusable templates and dashboards.Establish and enforce data security, governance, and performance optimization standards within the Power BI and Azure environments.Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that BI solutions align with business needs and objectives.Implement automated deployment and version control processes using DevOps practices for BI solutions.QualificationsProficiency in SQL Server, SSRS, Power Automate, Power BI, including experience with complex DAX calculations and SSRS, Power BI Report Server.Strong skills in Power BI Paginated Reports, Dataflows, and Power Query, SSAS and MDX queries.Experience in Azure cloud technologies, such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing best practices.Familiarity with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.Proficiency in data integration tools (Azure Data Factory, SSIS).Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.Proven experience in leading teams through the adoption of Agile development methodologies.Experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.Strong understanding of Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.InComm provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin, citizenship, veteran's status, age, disability status, genetics or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law.*This position is eligible for the Employee Referral Bonus Program-Tier 4
