What you will be doing: Providing all aspects of guest service to maximize enjoyment of Lake Louise in a safe and enjoyable way.Pre-season set up of the canoe docks and post-season winterization of the boat house and docksProviding rules and basic canoeing instructions for beginnersAbility to work outside in all weather conditionsProcessing retail purchases at the cash registerEnsuring canoes are in clean conditionAdhering to all Environmental/Health and Safety policies and proceduresAssisting with special events as neededCompliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasksOther reasonable duties as assigned Qualifications Your skillset includes: Current Canadian Boating LicenseCurrent CPR and First Aid CertificationUniversity/College education in a related discipline an assetCash handling experienceStrong knowledge of canoeingExcellent guest service and communication skillsAble to work independentlyHighly responsible, self-motivated individualKnowledgeable about the hotel, surrounding area, and National ParksMust possess safe work habitsCapable of lifting and moving canoes (90 pounds+) Additional Information Visa Requirements: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
