There's never been a more exciting time to join Deel — the international payroll and compliance market leader.As a Bookkeeper, you will find satisfaction in managing and executing a range of financial activities, including:Take part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process.Assist with improving, developing, documenting, and implementing accounting and finance related policies and procedures to support the company's scale.Manage and comply with government reporting requirements, statutory financial statements and tax filings, VAT, Corporate Income Tax, (SPED; Nota Fiscal; PIS/COFINS).Focus on Brazilian tax regulations and how to interact with the Governmental platforms.Prepare and assist with internal reports and reconciliations.Ad-hoc projects.Work with external auditors.Requirements:The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting with at least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with previous audit experience.Well-organized with ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.High proficiency with Excel.Experience with Netsuite (advantage).Team player, strong communication and interpersonal skills.Advanced English level.Advanced Spanish level will be a plus.Total RewardsOur workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are.
