Our client based in the Pinetown area is seeking a detail-orientated and organized bookkeeper to join their team.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
The bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the financial records, ensuring accuracy, and providing essential support to the team.
Requirements:Relevant tertiary qualificationMinimum of 3-4 years' experience in bookkeepingStrong proficiency with QuickBooks, SAGE AccountingProficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reportingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time-management skillsGood problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentResponsibilities:Perform day-to-day bookkeeping dutiesRecording financial transactions on QuickBooksProcessing/reconciling group bank accounts and general ledger accountsProcessing month end journalsProcessing/capturing invoices/bills etc on QuickBooksReconciling creditor recons and payment listingEnsure supplier accounts and ageing are updatedReporting and data analysis current and historyMaintain organized and secure financial filing systemsEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulationsHandle confidential information with integrity and discretionAssisting in various financial and Adhoc duties when requiredIf you meet all of the above, please apply directly here.
