MISSION EDP Renewables Europe is seeking experienced candidates for a procurement position that will manage purchases of the following categories: CAPEX services, Engineering service/contracts, civil and electrical works (BOP), Wind & Solar equipment/EPC and other technical services for EDPR. The candidate will lead procurement processes regarding the construction phase of wind and solar projects: civil and electrical works (BOS), Frame Agreements, Engineering Services, and other CAPEX services and supplies. They will participate in all stages of the project - from needs identification until entering contracts - being involved in multidisciplinary teams to reach the best outcomes for each project according to the target goals of the company.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead whole RFP (Request For Proposal) processes, including: preparation of commercial specifications, centralizing the communication with stakeholders, leading negotiations, performing commercial assessments, awarding and reporting.Lead Contract & Commercial Negotiations, driving appropriate commercial relationships with suppliers and ensuring a competitive process according to company procedures.Business goals oriented, supported by a culture of continuous improvement with cost & performance benchmarks in use, and providing appropriate reporting.Monitor market trends to identify risks & opportunities.Strong cooperation with other departments (Engineering, Construction, EHS, etc.) to achieve the best results aligned with the company strategy.REQUIRED PROFILE ACADEMIC LEVEL EXPERIENCE +5 years in technical purchases of civil and electrical works and/or investment projects and/or Wind and Solar BOP-BOS.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and ability to manage databases can be valued.Familiar with contractual negotiation and preparation processes.General knowledge of Supply Chain concepts.LANGUAGES English High Level (Oral and Writing). Spanish will be valued. Additional languages will be valued.
