This role provides sales leadership, through their own production, as well as the oversight of sales and services tasks, and works closely with key partners to achieve sales and service objectives while maintaining operational integrity.Essential Functions:Manage the branch service, sales and operations functions to achieve the strategic goals of the branch in coordination with a Branch Manager or Business Center Manager.Interview, select, hire, evaluate performance, and recommend advancement or termination of employees.Train, coach, and mentor employees.Provide leadership and training for the sale and referral of bank products and services.Resolve and respond to client service issues, complex client complaints, and questions.Direct the work of managed employees and may schedule work hours.Maintain production or sales records for supervision and performance management of employees.Recommend promotions or other changes in employee status, handle employee complaints and grievances, and discipline employees.Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.Monitor and implement legal compliance measures and ensure adherence to bank policies and procedures.Approve teller transactions as needed.Prepare the branch for audits and work with audit staff to resolve identified issues.Monitor compliance with policy and the company's risk appetite.Implement management procedures and operating practices.Investigate and resolve operational issues, loss, fraud, and significant matters on behalf of the company.Represent the branch in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes, or resolving grievances.May process cash transactions and perform other customer service and sales duties as needed.Other duties as assigned.This position requires the Branch Service Manager to work on site at the assigned branch or business center office.Qualifications:Requires a high school diploma and 2+ years' experience in retail banking, sales, new accounts, customer service, loan processes or other directly related experience.A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.Knowledge of the banking industry, processes, procedures, regulations and products.Strong customer service, relationship building, sales, and management skills.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Knowledge of computer programs, e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, etc.Ability to lead a group and deal effectively with people in various job capacities.Excellent problem solving skills.Compensation and Benefits:Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance – START DAY ONE!Life and Disability Insurance, Paid Paternal Leave, and Adoption Assistance.Health Savings (HSA), Flexible Spending (FSA), and dependent care accounts.Paid Training, Paid Time Off (PTO), and 11 Paid Federal Holidays.401(k) plan with company match, Profit Sharing, competitive compensation in line with work experience.Mental health benefits, including coaching and therapy sessions.Tuition Reimbursement for qualifying employees.Employee Ambassador preferred banking products.This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $63,000 - $93,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.This position will be open until filled.
