Brazil Trade & Product Compliance Manager, Global

6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience with Brazilian product safety / consumer compliance regulations.
- Proficiency with implementing processes to comply with regulatory requirements
- Deep knowledge of Brazilian regulatory requirements for at least one product category.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
- Fluent in English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and computer skills

Key job responsibilities
- Work with Amazon's Global Trade and Product Compliance and Legal teams to define requirements, develop large scale project plans, set policies and work cross-functionally to drive multiple-system impacting workstreams
- Collaborate with Amazon's Global Product Compliance to establish and implement processes to execute against established policies.
- Work with technology stakeholders to drive efficiencies and scale through technology solutions.
- Partner with Legal, Tax and Public Policy teams to participate in proposed new regulations.
- Partner with service leaders across Amazon to identify and influence the development of new programs/products and services
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Retail industry experience
