Summary & Role Information:
The S/4 HANA Customer Safeguarding Team supports customers in an easy end-to-end implementation experience of S/4 HANA Cloud applications deployed via Central Business Configuration (CBC). We deal with the newest configuration possibilities in S/4 HANA Public Cloud and as a central group, we are involved in numerous projects and activities. We analyze and fix problems reported by our internal and external customers and we are always in close contact with them.
We are a global team mainly based in Walldorf/Germany, Warsaw/Poland, Sao Leopoldo/Brasil, and Shanghai/China, embracing a cooperative, professional, and fun working atmosphere. You will be part of a dynamic, creative team that will allow you to unfold your individual potential. Our new team members are provided with both a professional and a personal mentor/buddy to build up the necessary specialist knowledge together with the team and selected training courses.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with ABAP and SAP Best Practices knowledge to support us on our mission to safeguard our customer deployments by ensuring the content lifecycle of highly integrated business content for our customers.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Among other responsibilities, you should expect to do many of the following:
Investigate and analyze complex content-related issues with the help of your new team.
Be part of the S/4 HANA Cloud family, working with SAP's flagship technology including high visibility.
Over time, you will gain deep knowledge in cloud-based configuration and cloud lifecycle.
Support internal and external escalations.
Drive incident resolution by involving stakeholders (e.g., LoB, Industry, etc.).
Safeguard S/4 HANA Cloud customers in critical/escalated situations and build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Self-empowerment and independent thinking combined with responsibility.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
University degree (Bachelor, Diploma, Master) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related fields with above-average results.
Solid experience with SAP S/4HANA in either consulting, development, or support role, preferably in a broader context of Business Content (SAP Best Practices).
Well experienced with ABAP and ABAP OOO.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Customer and quality focus.
Open and professional communication style.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Relevant work experience.
Experience working in international teams and/or with customers is a plus.
Experience in project or development management is a plus.
