Job Description As a Business Development Specialist for the North & South American market, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities, engage potential clients, and foster strong relationships to achieve revenue targets. Responsibilities: - Conduct outbound tele-calling to establish communication with potential customers in the USA and Canada market. Initiate engaging conversations and identify customer needs to effectively position our products and services. - Develop and execute strategic plans to target and acquire new business opportunities in the assigned market. This includes prospecting, lead generation, and qualifying potential clients. - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals. - Negotiate rates and terms with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with the company's policies and profitability targets. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify potential opportunities and challenges in the USA and Canada market. - Regularly analyze sales data, performance metrics, and KPIs to assess progress towards sales targets and implement necessary adjustments to achieve objectives. - Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to share market insights, customer feedback, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system. - Represent Supertainer Container Trading LLC at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand the company's network and foster potential partnerships. - Continuously enhance product knowledge and keep abreast of advancements in the container trading industry to position yourself as an expert and provide valuable insights to customers. Qualifications: - Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the shipping or shipping container trading industry for at least 1 year - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify market trends and opportunities. - Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently. - Knowledge of the North and South American market and its specific business landscape is a plus. Compensation The salary for this position includes an attractive commission structure based on the candidate's skills and experience.
