The basic function is to direct activities related to sourcing, screening, analyzing, planning, and developing a business venture or portfolio of ventures including initiation, closing, and transition. Provides high-level professional expertise in the development and management of new business ventures. The scope includes handling proposals valued up to $500MM or larger.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent.12 years of experience.CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), PMP (Project Management Professional), or similar.Industry expertise and knowledge of specific business transaction and venturing activities.Expertise in financial analysis of companies and transaction valuation.Focused knowledge and experience in one or more of the following; carve-out divestment, financial restructuring, or initial public offering (IPO).Experience in dealing with local or industry-specific best practices and regulatory and governmental mandates.Key ResponsibilitiesManages the business development process through deal closure.Works with investor(s) to establish high-level strategic, financial, and operational goals for a new venture.Reviews investor proposals and approves contract payments and variations.Coordinates with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure deal alignment.Coordinates with internal entities, external entities, and advisors to promote business opportunities.Leads business portfolios and manages development of commercial agreements.Manages negotiation strategy development and execution.Prepares reviews and presents corporate committees and executive briefs.Provides administrative direction to Business Development staff.Represents the company in professional societies, committees, and conferences.Job BenefitsMonthly Base Salary – aligned with company employees with similar skills.Monthly Overbase – 25% of your monthly base salary.Benefits Supplement – 20% of your monthly base salary, increasing with years of service.Severance Package – 2-week pay for each year of service after a 2-year vest period.Employment Tax – potential tax benefits for employees separating from their home country.Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) – eligible after 12 months of service.Incentive Plan – annual; based on performance.Travel Allowance – annual; approx. $8,200 per household member over 11 years old.Vacation & Paid Holidays – 38 vacation days / 4 travel days / 11-13 paid holidays.Medical/Dental Plan – complimentary medical care for employee and eligible family members.Educational Assistance Plan (EAP) – financial assistance for education expenses.Settling in Allowance – one-time payment based on family status.
