As a market leader, we are dedicated to continuous innovation and excellence, and we are expanding our Fund Administration services to further support venture capital, private equity, and other investment funds in optimizing their portfolios.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Business Development professional to spearhead the growth of our Fund Administration services. In this role, you will leverage your deep industry expertise and extensive network to identify and secure new business opportunities, build long-term relationships with key stakeholders, and drive significant revenue growth. Your role is critical in establishing our platform as the go-to solution for top-tier fund administrators and investment managers.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Penetration: Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in the fund administration space, focusing on high-impact, top-tier venture capital, private equity, and investment funds.Client Acquisition: Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for potential clients.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers at fund administration firms, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate partnerships with complementary service providers in the fund administration ecosystem to enhance our service offerings and expand our market reach.Revenue Growth: Drive substantial revenue growth by achieving or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets, with a focus on high-value deals and long-term client engagements.Thought Leadership: Represent Eqvista, Inc. at industry events, conferences, and forums, positioning our brand as a leader in fund administration and equity management.Product Advocacy: Advocate for our platform's advanced capabilities, demonstrating how it meets the complex needs of top-tier fund administrators and investment professionals.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and client success, to ensure a cohesive approach to client acquisition and retention.RequirementsExperience: 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic account management, with a strong focus on fund administration, financial services, or FinTech.Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of fund administration, including portfolio management, compliance, regulatory requirements, and the operational challenges faced by top-tier investment funds.Proven Success: Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and securing high-value deals in a competitive, consultative sales environment.Executive Presence: Strong executive presence with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing and building trust with senior-level stakeholders.Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).Preferred QualificationsEstablished relationships within the venture capital and private equity sectors, with a proven network of industry contacts.Experience with high-growth SaaS platforms, particularly in equity management or financial software.Background in working with or selling to top-tier investment firms or financial institutions.What We OfferCompetitive Compensation: Industry-leading base salary with a lucrative commission structure and performance-based bonuses.Equity: Opportunity to earn significant equity in the company as part of our employee stock option plan.Comprehensive Benefits: Premium health, dental, and vision insurance, along with a generous PTO policy.Leadership Development: Opportunities for career advancement, leadership roles, and professional growth in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.World-Class Culture: A collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work environment where your contributions are recognized and valued.How to ApplyIf you are a seasoned business development professional with a passion for driving growth in the fund administration space, we invite you to join our top-tier team!
