Along the journey, we'll provide you with a nurturing environment where you can be part of something truly extraordinary and make a real difference for companies and the planet.About the role…Via this entry point into o9 solutions, you are positioned to learn the business from a sales and commercialization aspect by working closely with Account Executives and Pre-sales teams, to discover opportunities and develop them into revenue generating client solutions. You will be responsible for strategically identifying key decision makers at companies matching our target market and helping to grow our customer base across Latin America, in designated industries verticals, through consistent outreach and engagement.A successful candidate is someone with a University degree in a business, marketing, quantitative or engineering discipline. You will bring your intellectual curiosity and drive to make an impact that will enable you to seek and understand the supply chain challenges of potential customers and speak to how our solutions can assist. You will be working from your home office until we identify an office location in Brazil, after which there is opportunity to work in office and at home (hybrid). You will be the first Business Development hire in Brazil and will eventually support the build of a regional small Business Development team.We have moved from start-up to scale-up mode across the globe. This kind of growth will allow you to build relationships here at o9 within many parts of the organization quickly including: Product Management, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success/Client Management, etc., and envision your own career path, advancement beyond this role, into one of these other groups, both in Brazil, as well as abroad. We are truly a global employee base, working across time zones and partnering cross functionally with other regions.What you'll do for us…Generate and convert net new leads within the retail, CPG and Brand industriesProactively seeking new business opportunities in the Brazilian market through marketing campaigns, event marketing, social media activitiesBuilding a prospect database and communication strategy using LinkedIn and other supply chain business sources, continually striving to be innovative in your outreach approachWorking cross functionally with the Industry Sales Leaders, Account Executives and Solutions Engineers to initiate introductory meetings with your assigned industry prospects and partners, conducting some limited demonstrations of the o9 platformPartnering with the o9 Creative team to create innovative content and ideas for outreach strategies as well as continued community engagement events in various marketsMaintaining up to date prospect and client information via the Salesforce CRM platformNetworking and sharing best practices with the Innovations Strategist teams in North America, Europe, and IndiaWhat you'll have…University Degree, preferably in a business, marketing, supply chain or a similar fieldFluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish1-3 years professional experience in lead generation/conversion effortsDemonstrated experience in developing software sales and grooming a prospect pipeline within the Brazilian and South American marketStrong initiative - you don't have to know everything, study the context/problem first and if you cannot find the solution reach out for helpBasic understanding of supply chain planning concepts would be a plus, but eagerness to learn and develop in the field of supply chainProficient use of GSuite/MS Office, LinkedInExperience with CRM and lead generation software (e.g. Salesforce, Apollo) would be a plusLow on ego, high on interest to contribute to the benefit of your peers and customersA patient listener with the ability to clearly articulate your viewpoint to all levels of our customerStrong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domainTimezone friendly approach to work (we work in India, Europe and the US)More about us…With the latest increase in our valuation from $2.7B to $3.7B despite challenging global macroeconomic conditions, o9 Solutions is one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the world today.
