We are hiring a Business Intelligence Engineer to own a business Chapter which is an exciting opportunity to be involved from design-to-execution.
As a Business Intelligence Engineer you will be working in one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments.
In this role, you will primarily work on designing and building automated reporting and dashboards using complex data.
As a BI Engineer, you will operate as a mix of hands-on builder and influencer.
The team's success depends on our ability to create actionable insight from the data that we and our partners generate.
The ideal BIE candidate will have excellent analytical abilities, business acumen, high judgment, strong technical skills, and good written and verbal communication skills.
This person will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big and be creative (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
To be successful in this role, you should have broad skills in data, be comfortable dealing with large and complex data sets, while applying analytical rigor to solve business problems.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 4+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
experience
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience working as a BIE in a technology company
