Your Role and Responsibilities
The position is part of the F&O organization, which supports IBM WW Research labs. The employee that will man this position will be part of a global team, providing around the clock operations management and support to labs located in five different continents.
Ensure a high level and timely support to the lab's employees, from all the supporting functions in IBM (e.g., GRE, security etc.).Day to day support for the researchers (questions about processes, policies, and guidelines).Help to solve problems in the support.Support events execution (such as workshops, lab events etc.).Execution of BRL Secure Area Management tasks.Handle tax benefit program.Be an active member in the initiative to align the local level of services, provided by various IBM supporting functions, with the level of services provided in other countries.Logistic support to move items between states in Brazil.Physically receive or send items.Corporate credit card purchases. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Fluent English, writing and speaking.At least 1 year of experience in a similar role (e.g., back-office operations etc.)Business experience in Excel (able to use functions to meet requirements), PowerPoint and Word.Excellent communication skills, including virtual/online interactions.Proactivity, very good interpersonal relationship, good team player, sense of urgency.Innovation, ability to propose and take calculated risk and ability to solve problems.Order and accuracy. Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Advanced Excel.EPM, Monday and Mural tools.
