Business Systems and Automation Manager
to oversee our client's core systems, driving efficiency through intelligent automation and process improvement.
This role involves managing and optimizing a suite of business tools, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions that reduce manual effort and streamline operations across departments.
You'll report directly to the CEO and have significant ownership over business systems, from CRM to ERP integrations.
The ideal candidate will be a systems thinker, a strong communicator, and an independent problem-solver with a knack for automation.

Availability
:
This is a
full-time position (9 am - 5 pm EST)
with the flexibility to work remotely.
Candidates must be available during these hours for collaboration and support.
Key Responsibilities
:
Optimize Business Systems
: Manage tools like Netsuite, Google Workspace, Shopify, Rippling, Close CRM, and other critical software, ensuring each system is used to its full potential.
Identify Inefficiencies and Automate Workflows
: Collaborate with teams to spot inefficiencies, then design and implement automation that simplifies tasks and saves time.
Implement and Configure New Systems
: Oversee the complete lifecycle of new system implementations, from gathering requirements and evaluating options to implementation and team training.
Integrate and Automate Systems
: Use low-code platforms like Zapier, Integromat, or similar tools to connect software and reduce manual data entry and repetitive tasks.
Spec Custom Development
: When low-code solutions are insufficient, scope and manage small projects for contract developers to create custom solutions.
Team Training and Documentation
: Develop clear documentation and provide training to ensure that all team members can effectively use the systems in place.
Stay Up-to-Date
: Research new tools, trends, and best practices in business automation, continually proposing improvements to current systems.
Requirements
:
Experience in Business Systems Management and Automation
: Proven experience managing multiple business systems across departments, with a focus on streamlining and automating workflows.
Automation Skills
: Proficiency in tools like Zapier, Integromat/Make, or Celigo Integrator.io to create efficient workflows.
Process-Oriented and Systems Thinker
: Strong ability to design processes that improve efficiency and reduce complexity.
Problem-Solver
: Able to diagnose issues, design solutions, and implement them independently.
Excellent Communication
: Capable of explaining complex technical processes in a way that non-technical team members can understand.
Self-Driven and Remote-Ready
: Well-suited for remote work, with strong time management and self-motivation.
