**Job Description Summary**: Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies.
Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.
Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline.
May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Manage PO execution & close follow-up (understanding GE's requirements for the supply and assuring supplier is accomplishing his commitments in time/schedule, quality and cost)
- Keep ERP system updated to reflect any change in the purchase order and making sure it reflects the correct information of the supply
- Lead action plans development to secure the achievement of organization needs when a deviation in the supply is found.
- Perform expediting activities in suppliers and manage expediting reports
- Manage suppliers' On Time Delivery performance and penalties due to late deliveries
- Report supply progress to the organization (provide regular feed-back on the Purchase Order execution)
- Act as communication channel between project management, quality, manufacturing, engineering, materials management teams and suppliers, assuring the integration and clarification of issues between functions and suppliers
- Lead change order RFQ coming from additional scope
- Manage Purchase Order inspections schedule (ensure planned inspections are confirmed by the supplier, warn supplier to issue inspection requests in due time and follow the inspection requests treatment by quality)
- Be supplier's main point of contact, addressing and answering any questions they may have
- Monitor and work to achieve and improve projects cash-out & cash-ins and goods receipt value
- Manage Invoicing issues and problems of incoming materials
- Manage minor variation orders & escalate major variation orders to the commodity buyer
- Participate in kick-of meetings and follow-up defined actions

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Ability and willingness to travel at least 20% of the time
- Robust experience in managing supplies in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment
- SAP knowledge
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is desired, but not mandatory
