You will model responsible business practices and interpersonal skills as you liaise with both internal and external customers.What is in it for you:Subsidized staff accommodation provided on-site for full time statusCompetitive extended benefits package including medical, vision and dental for full time permanent statusEmployee Travel ProgramComprehensive Wellness PlatformDiscounts on food & beverage/fitness centre/spa/golfOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and over 5,000 properties with AccorWhat you will be doing:Reporting to the Director of Engineering and supporting the ownership capital team, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Work closely and effectively communicate with the ownership group, hotel leadership, and all other project stakeholders on redevelopment project planning, design documentation, permitting, procurement, contracts and execution coordinationResponsible for on-property coordination of contractors and FF&E installers during redevelopment project executionAssist Department heads with planning, approvals submittals and workflows, procurement and implementation of Operating and Technology capital projectsResponsible for onsite coordination of refurbishment and infrastructure capital projects.Maintaining relationships with various departments in the hotel to facilitate all aspects of project co-ordinationResponsible for representing Accor to all contacts external and internal in accordance to our mission, vision, values and purposeResponsible for assisting in the coordination of labour to meet project demands and delivery schedulesResponsible for review of supplied drawings and specifications for operational and physical concernsResponsible for completion of capital expenditure forms and obtaining applicable quotesResponsible for ensuring that all projects and assignments meet Accor StandardsConsolidate and track all authority for expenditures, purchase orders, capital invoices, ensuring proper documentation management and overall project budgets are properly reconciledAssist with gathering documents for various audits as requiredMaintain well-organized records of meeting notes, complex spreadsheets, operation & maintenance manuals, and various other hard & digital filesDevelop a strong understanding of the 5yr & 10yr capital visions for the property and make sound business decisions accordinglyWeekly dissemination of construction activity reports on site to hotel departmentsConduct monthly housing and feeding reconciliation to ensure project budgets are properly reconciled with other project costsResponsible for adhering to Health & Safety Responsibilities as per Health & Safety PolicyOther duties as assignedQualificationsYour experience and skills include:Background in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil)Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is considered an assetFamiliarity with facilities components and building systems (HVAC, electrical, building exteriors, etc.
