Today, 360 Behavioral Health is one of the top ABA, enhanced personal assistance and respite providers in the United States.What would this role do?The Care Skills Trainer plays a critical role in equipping clinical partners with crisis intervention strategies to ensure safety for clients, themselves, and others during care delivery.
The Care Skills Trainer further supports with delivering initial training to care partners and facilitating practice opportunities for behavioral health partners.Role ResponsibilitiesDeliver safety & crisis prevention training to all partners delivering ABA treatment and/or care services to clients.
Host live remote training groups on the topics of verbal intervention and de-escalation strategies for new partners joining the organization and partners recertifying annually.Travel to 360 Behavioral Health clinic locations to host live, in-person crisis intervention training.Complete required training documentation for all completed trainings.Partner with the home center to coordinate the schedule and completion of crisis intervention training.
Monitor partner registration and scheduling for crisis prevention training to ensure compliance with required training.Effectively communicate with the home center.Provide feedback on candidate performance to home center.Monitor the effectiveness of the safety and crisis prevention training program through continuous performance evaluation, partner engagement in training, and feedback; propose adjustments to support the organization's goals for safety and crisis prevention.Deliver initial care training to Direct Support Professionals through a live, remote format.
Provide a warm welcome to all new partners and aid them in successfully starting their career.Provide feedback to partners regarding their performance.Communicate and model organization mission, vision and values to partners in the training.In coordination with the Behavior Intervention Trainer, facilitate live remote small group practice for Behavior Interventionists in weekly training cohorts.
