The Senior Analyst helps ensure technical work is properly prioritized according to the priorities set by leadership and the project manager.
This role serves as the primary contact for our Corporate Functions data and reporting, coordinating user acceptance testing before and after production releases as well as production support responsibilities.Location: Open to candidates in the U.S. and CanadaSalary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 annuallySalary range is competitive and varies based on location and experience.Duties and Responsibilities:Understand and discuss technical concepts with non-technical and technical employeesLead requirement gathering sessions with usersAct as an ambassador for reporting across HR, Sales, and Finance internally and externally, and as the primary technical contact for queries related to itPropose opportunistic new product ideas and strategies with a wide variety of audiencesParticipate in Agile team ceremoniesEnsure team commitments by setting clear development priorities, continuous iterative improvements and minimal viable product deliveryDevelop detailed Business Requirement Documents necessary for the ongoing successful use of the applicationTranslate business requirements into Functional Design specificationsImplement new functionality and create necessary training videos or documentsConduct unit, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure changes meet requirementsPerform and coordinate maintenance projects and research new issues as they ariseIdentify continuous improvement opportunities for savings and efficiencyPerform system configuration, including necessary scripting and process automationOccasional on-call support outside normal business hours for initial post go-live supportLead and mentor other business analysts in the team by providing direction and guidance in all aspects of product deliveryFacilitate governance councils to ensure business segment(s) alignment and prioritiesOversee and ensure compliance with industry and internal standardsProvide input on enterprise planning, decisions, and processesRequired Skills and Abilities:Ability to leverage both agile development and waterfall release approachesSkilled with LEAN or other process improvement methodologiesExperience with writing Functional and System documentationKnowledge of technology, vendors, services, and methodologies to build digital offeringsAble to learn how to use flowchart and diagram tools such as LucidChartFamiliarity with Application Integration PreferredFamiliarity with RPA, AI, ML PreferredStrong leadership, team building, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to function autonomously and use good judgment in a fast-paced, global environmentAbility to adapt to changing priorities, shifting needs and moderate ambiguityKnowledge of and capable to introduce new technologies to the organizationAbility to develop strategies for crucial solutions for the overall success of the businessEducation and Experience:7+ years' experience as a business analyst or functional analyst or a similar role2+ years' experience in data analysis and data visualization to draw business-relevant conclusions2+ years' experience in Report development and testingExperience with Power BI a mustExperience and familiarity with creating enterprise reporting across HR, Sales, and Finance teams using data from a CRM, Global Finance technology and HR technologies highly preferredExperience with HubSpot, Workday Financials, and/or SuccessFactors highly preferredPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerAbility to lift to 15lbs/5 kgMinimum to no travel requiredThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
